I hold a BA in Translation from the Ionian University and an MA in Conference Interpreting from the University of Cyprus, and my working languages are Greek (A), English (B), and French (C). I am also a Sworn Translator of the Republic of Cyprus.
Translation expertise
As a freelance translator, I specialize in legal, financial, medical, and literary texts. My extensive assignments over nearly 30 years include the translation of a plethora of judicial documents for service abroad via the EU procedure and the Hague Convention, EU related documents such as announcements, booklets, and funded projects, cultural heritage texts and recommendations, municipal and cultural texts for various municipalities in Cyprus, climate related documents, technology and innovation reports, architectural research and exhibition documents, website texts, insurance policies, trade union documents, collective agreements for various professional sectors such as seafarers and builders, numerous court rulings for different court cases and law firms relating to property, family and commercial law, several Memorandums and Articles of Association of companies as well as other company documents such as sales contracts, partnership agreements, annual financial reports and statements, gender related publications, art exhibition catalogues and other art related texts, as well as many other expert terminology documents such as various advertising projects by advertising agencies, medical and forensic reports, certificates, translations of plays, poems and film scripts, and others.
